Last year in the Donetsk region were adopted 400 children

During 2011 in the Donetsk region 400 adoptions of children - orphans and children deprived of parental care. This is related by the chief of the Children of Donetsk Regional State Administration Vera Sagaidak, informs the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

Of these, 230 - national adoption, 170 foreign. In every town and district of the region is a family-type children's homes. During the past year in six established family-type homes (all based on pre-existing foster family) and 42 foster families, which is arranged in 124 children-orphans and children deprived of parental care.

In the region there are seven centers, designed for 255 children, and five shelters, designed for 225 children. In contrast to the shelters work centers more efficient, as they help children get a comprehensive and complete rehabilitation, the passage of time which can be up to 9 months. And the child's stay in the shelters is determined individually for each.

The total number of orphans and children deprived of parental care in the region is 10,373, of which 4909 (47%) - have a shelter, 5464 (53%) - have no shelter at all.Services for Children and the city council district administrations are carried out continuously checks of housing that is reserved for temporarily missing children. Are all necessary steps under the laws of conservation of housing temporarily absent children.
