The "Center for Helping Survivors in the Dnipro" project , created at the initiative of the Office of the Vice-Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, with the assistance of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, in partnership with UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine, thanks to the financial support of the governments of Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Spain and in cooperation with local authorities.

The Center for Helping the Rescued in Dnipro began work in August 2022.

Professionals and specialists of the service confidentially and free of charge provide psychological, legal and social assistance to victims of war - both internally displaced persons and local residents, including people who have passed the occupation and captivity, war veterans and families of military personnel.

The service specializes in helping victims of conflict-related sexual violence (CSV).

"We continue to record an increase in the number of appeals. People are exhausted by war, but this does not justify any form of violence."

Case manager of the Rescue Center in Dnipro

"It only seems that violence is being committed somewhere in other worlds. Our practice and experience testify to the silence caused by stereotypes and discrimination, and not to the absence of these terrible crimes."
