Social bakery "MAMA 1" is an initiative of the "MARTIN-club" NGO, which operates in Dnipro and is designed to support women who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. The bakery operates next to the "Rukavychka" social house in the village of Orlivshchyna, where women and children find temporary shelter and the opportunity to start a new phase of life. Here they bake bread, cookies, bagels and other goodies, which are sold to ensure the maintenance of the shelter and provide women with employment and professional development opportunities.

The project promotes economic stability for women who have gone through difficult situations, including domestic violence or displacement due to war. Profits from "MAMA 1" go to support the house and other initiatives aimed at the development of social sustainability for women and children in the region.

"MAMA 1" bakery also fulfills an important social mission, providing its employees not only with financial support, but also with the opportunity to acquire useful skills necessary for future employment. An important part of the activity is the psychological and professional support of women who find it difficult to integrate into society due to difficult life circumstances. Here, they receive mentorship and a sense of stability that helps them rebuild their faith in themselves and create a new start for themselves and their children.

In addition, MAMA 1 products are often distributed among public organizations and shelters where displaced people and people in need of support, including women and children affected by the war, are staying. This not only provides women with a source of income, but also supports vulnerable sections of the population, which is especially important in times of crisis. Thanks to the initiative of the MARTIN-club NGO, which has been helping women and children for more than two decades, the MAMA 1 bakery is not just a business, but a valuable social project that helps change lives for the better
